How it works

1. Cast Body of Research by paying , creating a 0/0 Fractal creature token, then putting a number of +1/+1 counters on it equal to your deck size.
2. Optionally, give the Fractal token haste, or proceed to your next turn.
3. Declare the Fractal and The Mindskinner, if desired/able, as attackers.
4. When the Fractal, and The Mindskinner if it attacked, would deal combat damage to the opponent, The Mindskinner prevents that damage, and causes each opponent to mill that many cards.

This clever synergy turns the sheer volume of your library into a devastating mill weapon by pairing Body of Research with The Mindskinner. When you resolve Body of Research, you generate a massive Fractal creature token whose power scales directly with your remaining deck size. Once that colossal token swings at an opponent, The Mindskinner steps in to completely replace its impending combat damage with a mill effect of equal proportions. Because the Fractal's power is so immense, this single substitution instantly forces your opponent to mill cards equal to your entire deck, usually ending the game on the spot.
