How it works

1. Cast Shimmering Wings by paying .
2. Displacer Kitten triggers, blinking Overlord of the Hauntwoods.
3. When Overlord of the Hauntwoods enters the battlefield, it triggers twice, creating two tapped Everywhere land tokens.
4. When the Everywhere land tokens enter the battlefield, Amulet of Vigor triggers, untapping them.
5. Resolve the Shimmering Wings spell.
6. Activate the two Everywhere tokens by tapping them, adding .
7. Activate Shimmering Wings by paying , returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
8. Repeat.

This ingenious loop transforms a humble Aura into an infinite engine by leveraging the passive multipliers of Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines and Amulet of Vigor. When you cast Shimmering Wings, Displacer Kitten triggers to blink Overlord of the Hauntwoods; thanks to Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines, that entry triggers twice to flood the board with Everywhere land tokens. Every single one of those land tokens arrives tapped, but Amulet of Vigor immediately steps in to untap them so they can be tapped right back for mana. You can then use Shimmering Wings's own activation to bounce it right back to your hand, fueling the next iteration and creating an endless cascade of triggers and resources.
