How it works

1. Cast Flickering Ward by paying .
2. Displacer Kitten triggers, blinking Overlord of the Hauntwoods.
3. When Overlord of the Hauntwoods enters the battlefield, it triggers twice, creating two tapped Everywhere land tokens.
4. When the Everywhere land tokens enter the battlefield, Amulet of Vigor triggers, untapping them.
5. Resolve the Flickering Ward spell.
6. Activate the two Everywhere tokens by tapping them, adding .
7. Activate Flickering Ward by paying , returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
8. Repeat.

This loop turns the modest mana cost of Flickering Ward into a self-sustaining engine by leaning heavily on the passive amplification of Yarok, the Desecrated and Amulet of Vigor. Whenever you recast the Ward, Displacer Kitten blinks Overlord of the Hauntwoods, and Yarok doubles its entry trigger so that two Everywhere land tokens are born at once. Amulet of Vigor steps in to immediately untap those newly spawned lands, allowing you to tap them for the white mana needed to bounce and replay Flickering Ward over and over.
