Anarchist

How it works

1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Anarchist, adding CC.
2. When Anarchist dies, Mortuary triggers, putting Anarchist on top of your library from your graveyard.
3. Cast Hit the Mother Lode by paying 4, exiling Anarchist from the top of your library and casting it without paying its mana cost, and creating five tapped Treasure artifact tokens.
4. When Anarchist and the Treasures enter the battlefield, Amulet of Vigor triggers five times and Anarchist triggers once.
5. Resolve all Amulet of Vigor triggers, untapping the Treasures.
6. Resolve the Anarchist trigger, returning Hit the Mother Lode from your graveyard to your hand.
7. Activate five Treasures by tapping and sacrificing them, adding 2.
8. Repeat.

This elaborate loop relies on Ashnod's Altar to continuously sacrifice Anarchist, whose death triggers Mortuary to place it right back on top of your library. From there, casting Hit the Mother Lode allows you to discover directly into Anarchist—leveraging its low mana value to generate five tapped Treasure tokens along the way. Thanks to Amulet of Vigor, those Treasures instantly untap upon entry, while Anarchist's own entrance ability plucks Hit the Mother Lode right back out of your graveyard to hand. By sacrificing the untapped Treasures for mana, you secure the exact funds needed to recast the spell, sustaining an endless loop of fiery excavations and recurring resurrections.
