How it works

1. Activate any number of lands by tapping them, adding at least 3.
2. Activate Overgrown Estate by sacrificing a land.
3. Repeat step 2 until you control no lands.
4. Activate Aftermath Analyst by paying 3 and sacrificing it, returning all lands from your graveyard to the battlefield tapped.
5. When the lands enter, Emeria Shepherd and Amulet of Vigor trigger that many times.
6. Resolve all Amulet of Vigor triggers, untapping each land that entered.
7. Resolve an Emeria Shepherd trigger that was triggered by a Plains, returning Aftermath Analyst from your graveyard to the battlefield.
8. Resolve all other Emeria Shepherd triggers, returning any number of nonland permanents from your graveyard to either your hand or the battlefield.
9. Repeat.

This recursive engine uses Overgrown Estate to relentlessly feed your graveyard with lands while converting them into life, paving the way for Aftermath Analyst to haul them all back to the battlefield at once. With Amulet of Vigor waiting in the wings to ensure those returned lands enter untapped and ready for action, you generate a massive flood of landfall triggers. This transforms Emeria Shepherd into an unstoppable recycling machine, pulling Aftermath Analyst right back out of the graveyard alongside any other nonland permanents you desire.
