How it works

1. Activate any number of lands by tapping them, adding at least 3.
2. Activate Lithatog by sacrificing a land.
3. Repeat step 2 until you control no lands.
4. Activate Aftermath Analyst by paying 3 and sacrificing it, returning all lands from your graveyard to the battlefield tapped.
5. When the lands enter, Emeria Shepherd and Amulet of Vigor trigger that many times.
6. Resolve all Amulet of Vigor triggers, untapping each land that entered.
7. Resolve an Emeria Shepherd trigger that was triggered by a Plains, returning Aftermath Analyst from your graveyard to the battlefield.
8. Resolve all other Emeria Shepherd triggers, returning any number of nonland permanents from your graveyard to either your hand or the battlefield.
9. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on Lithatog to strip away your own lands, feeding them into the graveyard so Aftermath Analyst can bring them all rushing back with its sacrifice ability. As those lands flood the battlefield, Amulet of Vigor steps in to instantly untap them so you can tap them again for mana, keeping the engine fueled. Meanwhile, the landfall triggers from Emeria Shepherd turn every returning Plains into a resurrection machine, bringing Aftermath Analyst right back to your side along with any other nonland permanents you might need from your graveyard.
