How it works

1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Tenacious Tomeseeker, adding CC.
2. When Tenacious Tomeseeker dies, Mortuary triggers, putting Tenacious Tomeseeker on top of your library from your graveyard.
3. Cast Hit the Mother Lode by paying 4, exiling Tenacious Tomeseeker from the top of your library and casting it without paying its mana cost, sacrificing an artifact, enchantment or token to its Bargain ability, and creating seven tapped Treasure artifact tokens.
4. When the Treasures enter the battlefield, Amulet of Vigor triggers seven times, untapping the Treasures.
5. Tenacious Tomeseeker enters the battlefield, triggering itself, returning Hit the Mother Lode from your graveyard to your hand.
6. Activate five Treasures by tapping and sacrificing them, adding 2.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop harnesses Ashnod's Altar to continuously sacrifice Tenacious Tomeseeker, whose death triggers Mortuary to place it right back on top of your library. From there, Hit the Mother Lode discovers the Tomeseeker and casts it with its bargain cost paid by sacrificing one of the resulting Treasures, while the remaining loot enters tapped and gets immediately untappd by Amulet of Vigor. Because Tenacious Tomeseeker was bargained, its entry ability returns Hit the Mother Lode straight to your hand to repeat the cycle. Sacrificing just a few of the newly minted Treasures to float your red mana leaves you with a massive surplus of both mana and tokens, fueling an infinite engine of destruction.
