How it works

1. Activate Carrion Feeder by sacrificing Eternal Witness.
2. When Eternal Witness dies, Mortuary triggers, putting Eternal Witness on top of your library from your graveyard.
3. Resolve the Carrion Feeder ability, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
4. Cast Hit the Mother Lode by paying 4, exiling Eternal Witness from the top of your library and casting it without paying its mana cost, and creating seven tapped Treasure artifact tokens.
5. When Eternal Witness and the Treasures enter the battlefield, Amulet of Vigor triggers seven times and Eternal Witness triggers once.
6. Resolve all Amulet of Vigor triggers, untapping the Treasures.
7. Resolve the Eternal Witness trigger, returning Hit the Mother Lode from your graveyard to your hand.
8. Activate seven Treasures by tapping and sacrificing them, adding 4.
9. Repeat.

This loop turns Hit the Mother Lode into a self-sustaining engine by utilizing Mortuary to neatly recycle Eternal Witness directly to the top of your library every time Carrion Feeder sacrifices it. Once Hit the Mother Lode casts Eternal Witness for free via Discover 10, the massive horde of tapped Treasure tokens it generates is immediately primed for action thanks to Amulet of Vigor forcing them to untap upon entry. You can then tap those Treasures for mana to recast the sorcery, while Eternal Witness continuously plucks Hit the Mother Lode right back out of your graveyard to keep the chain going indefinitely.
