How it works

1. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Eternal Witness, adding .
2. When Eternal Witness dies, Mortuary triggers, putting Eternal Witness on top of your library from your graveyard.
3. Cast Hit the Mother Lode by paying 4, exiling Eternal Witness from the top of your library and casting it without paying its mana cost, and creating seven tapped Treasure artifact tokens.
4. When Eternal Witness and the Treasures enter the battlefield, Amulet of Vigor triggers seven times and Eternal Witness triggers once.
5. Resolve all Amulet of Vigor triggers, untapping the Treasures.
6. Resolve the Eternal Witness trigger, returning Hit the Mother Lode from your graveyard to your hand.
7. Activate six Treasures by tapping and sacrificing them, adding 4.
8. Repeat.

This explosive loop is fueled by Hit the Mother Lode, which refunds its steep cost by discovering into a creature while generating a massive pile of tapped Treasure tokens. Amulet of Vigor immediately steps in to untap those Treasures upon entry, while Mortuary ensures that whenever Phyrexian Altar claims a sacrifice, the creature goes straight back to the top of your library to be found all over again. Finally, Eternal Witness bridges the gap by recycling Hit the Mother Lode from the graveyard back to your hand every single iteration, netting you infinite mana and an endless supply of artifacts and triggers.
