How it works

1. Cast Ugin's Conjurant either from your hand or from the top of your library by paying 0.
2. Ugin's Conjurant enters the battlefield and dies as a state-based action due to having zero toughness.
3. Mortuary triggers, putting Ugin's Conjurant on top of your library from your graveyard.
4. Repeat.

This cunning loop leverages Mortuary to instantly recycle creatures straight back to the top of your library whenever they perish. With Vizier of the Menagerie granting you the crucial ability to look at that top card and cast creature spells directly from there—while conveniently letting you spend mana of any type—you gain the perfect engine to replay your threats. By casting Ugin's Conjurant for zero mana, it immediately enters the battlefield with zero toughness and succumbs to state-based actions, sending it back to the graveyard to feed Mortuary all over again.
