How it works

1. Activate Liquimetal Coating by tapping it, causing Pheres-Band Tromper to become an artifact.
2. Activate Clock of Omens by tapping it and Pheres-Band Tromper, targeting Pheres-Band Tromper.
3. Ertha Jo triggers, copying Clock of Omens' ability, targeting Clock of Omens.
4. Resolve both Clock of Omens abilities, untapping it and Pheres-Band Tromper.
5. Pheres-Band Tromper triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
6. Repeat from step 2.

By using Liquimetal Coating to temporarily turn Pheres-Band Tromper into an artifact, we set the stage for Clock of Omens to tap both itself and the Tromper to untap the Tromper. The real engine here is Ertha Jo, Frontier Mentor, whose passive ability leaps into action whenever you activate that artifact-untapping ability, copying it so you can simultaneously untap Clock of Omens itself. This creates a self-sustaining loop where every cycle triggers Pheres-Band Tromper's inspired ability, stacking up infinite +1/+1 counters.
