How it works

2. Activate Bighorner Rancher by tapping it, adding at least 3.
3. Activate Voltaic Construct by paying 2, untapping Bighorner Rancher.
4. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop relies on Liquimetal Coating to transform Bighorner Rancher into an artifact, bridging the gap so it can be targeted by Voltaic Construct's untap ability. Once the Rancher's power is boosted to at least three, tapping it for green mana via its own ability provides more than enough resources to pay the Construct's activation cost. By repeatedly untapping your newly minted artifact creature, you generate an endless surplus of green mana to fund any massive spells your heart desires.
