How it works

1. Cast Palinchron for 5.
2. Palinchron enters the battlefield, untapping at least six Islands you control.
3. Activate six Islands you control by tapping them, adding twelve .
4. Activate Palinchron by paying 2, returning Palinchron to your hand.
5. Repeat.

This classic loop centers around Palinchron and its ability to untap up to seven lands upon entering the battlefield. By taking advantage of Extraplanar Lens, each of those lands taps for double mana, ensuring that untapping them yields significantly more than it costs to both cast the creature and bounce it back to your hand with its own activated ability. This generates an endless cycle of entering and leaving the battlefield that produces infinite mana from your lands, an infinite storm count, and endless creature triggers.
