How it works

1. Activate Coveted Falcon by paying 1, turning it face up.
2. Coveted Falcon triggers, causing an opponent to gain control of Demonic Pact and causing you to draw a card.
3. At the beginning of the opponent's upkeep, Demonic Pact triggers, causing them to select the fourth mode and lose the game.

This diabolical little setup forces your opponent to deal with the ultimate downside of Demonic Pact before it ruins your own day. By turning Coveted Falcon face up, you quietly hand ownership of the dreaded enchantment directly across the table while drawing a card for your trouble. Since Demonic Pact triggers at the beginning of *each* player's upkeep, your unsuspecting opponent is immediately forced to choose its fourth and final mode—instantly sealing their own doom.
