How it works

1. Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing Body Double.
2. When Body Double leaves the battlefield, it triggers its Reveillark ability, returning itself from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of Reveillark.
3. Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability.
4. Repeat.

This loop is a masterclass in recursion, turning the graveyard into a revolving door using just three interlocking pieces. You start by sacrificing Body Double to Altar of Dementia, which bins cards from your opponent's library based on the copied power while sending the Doppelganger back to the graveyard. Because Body Double left the battlefield, it triggers its freshly acquired Reveillark text—which it had copied while in the yard—allowing it to fish itself right back out. As it re-enters, Body Double simply copies Reveillark anew, ready to be sacrificed all over again to mill your opponents out entirely.
