How it works

1. Activate Yawgmoth's first ability by paying 1 life and sacrificing another creature.
2. When the creature dies, Daxos triggers, causing you to gain 1 life.
3. Resolve the Yawgmoth ability, causing you to draw a card and allowing you to put a -1/-1 counter on up to one creature.
4. The Locust God triggers, creating a 1/1 Insect creature token with flying and haste.
5. When the Insect enters the battlefield, Daxos triggers, causing you to gain 1 life.
6. Repeat.

This engine operates as a perpetual motion machine fueled by the interplay of life, cards, and tokens. Yawgmoth, Thran Physician serves as the mechanical core, allowing you to sacrifice creatures and pay life to draw cards while distributing -1/-1 counters. Every time a creature dies or a new one enters, Daxos, Blessed by the Sun cushions your life total to offset Yawgmoth's cost, keeping the loop going.
