How it works

1. Cast Kor Skyfisher by paying 0 and 2 life due to Defiler of Faith and Helm of Awakening.
2. Defiler of Faith triggers, creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token.
3. When the Soldier enters, Daxos triggers, causing you to gain life.
4. Resolve Kor Skyfisher. When it enters, it and Daxos trigger.
5. Resolve the Kor Skyfisher trigger, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
6. Resolve the Daxos trigger, causing you to gain life.
7. Repeat.

This clever engine transforms Kor Skyfisher's self-bouncing drawback into an infinite loop by leaning on cost-reducers to eliminate its mana requirement entirely. With Helm of Awakening and Defiler of Faith both shaving down casting costs, you can repeatedly cast the Kor Skyfisher for free while paying life to satisfy the Defiler's alternate cost. Every time the Kor Skyfisher enters the battlefield, the Defiler of Faith triggers to forge a fresh 1/1 Soldier creature token, which in turn causes Daxos, Blessed by the Sun to trigger and pad your life total. Since the returning Kor Skyfisher constantly resets itself back to your hand, you loop the entire sequence indefinitely to generate an unstoppable storm count and an endless army of tokens.
