How it works

1. Cast Kor Skyfisher by paying 0 and 2 life due to Defiler of Faith and Pearl Medallion.
2. Defiler of Faith triggers, creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token.
3. When the Soldier enters, Daxos triggers, causing you to gain life.
4. Resolve Kor Skyfisher. When it enters, it and Daxos trigger.
5. Resolve the Kor Skyfisher trigger, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
6. Resolve the Daxos trigger, causing you to gain life.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Kor Skyfisher into a self-sustaining engine by completely eliminating its mana cost through the combined cost reductions of Pearl Medallion and Defiler of Faith. Whenever you replay the Skyfisher for free, Defiler of Faith generates a 1/1 Soldier token, which immediately triggers Daxos, Blessed by the Sun to pad your life total as creatures enter and leave the battlefield. The Skyfisher's own entry trigger forces you to return a permanent to your hand, but since it bounces itself back, you can endlessly recast it to farm infinite creature tokens, lifegain triggers, and storm count.
