How it works

1. Cast Whitemane Lion by paying 1W/P.
2. Defiler of Faith triggers, creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token.
3. When the Soldier enters the battlefield, Daxos triggers, causing you to gain one life.
4. When Whitemane Lion enters the battlefield, it and Daxos trigger.
5. Resolve the Daxos trigger, causing you to gain one life.
6. Resolve the Whitemane Lion trigger, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
7. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Soldier, adding CC.
8. When the Soldier dies, Daxos triggers, causing you to gain one life.
9. Repeat.
