How it works

1. Activate Tinder Wall by sacrificing it.
2. When Tinder Wall dies, Mortuary and Daxos trigger.
3. Resolve the Mortuary trigger, putting Tinder Wall from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
4. Resolve the Daxos trigger, causing you to gain 1 life
5. Cast Tinder Wall from the top of your library by paying 1 life.
6. When Tinder Wall enters, Daxos triggers, causing you to gain 1 life.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop turns life into a renewable resource, letting you generate infinite red mana, storm count, and lifegain right off the top of your deck. Bolas's Citadel does the heavy lifting by allowing you to cast Tinder Wall directly from your library, replacing its mana cost with a simple payment of 1 life. Every time you sacrifice Tinder Wall for mana, Mortuary catches it on the way to the graveyard and immediately places it back on top of your library for the next iteration. Meanwhile, Daxos, Blessed by the Sun tracks this endless cycle of life and death, padding your life total with a steady stream of lifegain triggers to comfortably offset the life you're paying to Bolas's Citadel.
