How it works

1. Cast Kor Skyfisher by paying 0 and 2 life due to Defiler of Faith and The Immortal Sun.
2. Defiler of Faith triggers, creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token.
3. When the Soldier enters, Daxos triggers, causing you to gain life.
4. Resolve Kor Skyfisher. When it enters, it and Daxos trigger.
5. Resolve the Kor Skyfisher trigger, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
6. Resolve the Daxos trigger, causing you to gain life.
7. Repeat.

This clever engine uses Defiler of Faith alongside The Immortal Sun to entirely eliminate the mana cost of Kor Skyfisher, allowing you to cast the flyer over and over for just a payment of life. Each time Kor Skyfisher enters the battlefield, its own mandatory return-to-hand trigger keeps the loop going while constantly triggering the token-generation ability of Defiler of Faith. Meanwhile, Daxos, Blessed by the Sun sits on the board watching your army grow, capitalizing on every single creature entering and leaving the battlefield to steadily pad your life total.
