How it works

1. Activate Blood Pet by sacrificing it.
2. When Blood Pet dies, Mortuary and Daxos trigger.
3. Resolve the Mortuary trigger, putting Blood Pet from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
4. Resolve the Daxos trigger, causing you to gain 1 life
5. Cast Blood Pet from the top of your library by paying 1 life.
6. When Blood Pet enters, Daxos triggers, causing you to gain 1 life.
7. Repeat.

This ingenious engine loops Blood Pet in and out of play by leveraging Mortuary to recycle the sacrificed creature directly onto the top of your library each time it hits the graveyard. While Blood Pet fuels the loop by providing the initial mana to sustain casting it, Gwenom, Remorseless provides the critical alternative payment method, letting you cast it from the top of your library using life instead of mana so you can keep the black mana generated by Blood Pet as pure profit. Meanwhile, Daxos, Blessed by the Sun watches the constant cycle of entries and deaths to effortlessly pad your life total, neutralizing the life cost demanded by Gwenom and turning the entire sequence into an infinite storm and resource-generating machine.
