How it works

1. Cast Whitemane Lion by paying 0 and 2 life due to Defiler of Faith and Grand Arbiter Augustin IV.
2. Defiler of Faith triggers, creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token.
3. When the Soldier enters, Daxos triggers, causing you to gain life.
4. Resolve Whitemane Lion. When it enters, it and Daxos trigger.
5. Resolve the Whitemane Lion trigger, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
6. Resolve the Daxos trigger, causing you to gain life.
7. Repeat.

This ingenious loop leverages cost-reducers and self-bouncing creatures to generate infinite resources. With Grand Arbiter Augustin IV reducing white spells by {1} and Defiler of Faith letting you trade 2 life for another {W} reduction, Whitemane Lion becomes completely free to cast. Every time you cast the Lion, Defiler of Faith rewards you with a 1/1 white Soldier token, which in turn triggers Daxos, Blessed by the Sun to gain you life as tokens enter and leave the battlefield. Whitemane Lion's own entry trigger then forces you to return it to your hand, allowing you to repeat the entire process endlessly.
