How it works

  1. Gain life.
  2. The Destined White Mage triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Basking Broodscale.
  3. Basking Broodscale triggers, creating a creature token.
  4. When the creature token enters the battlefield, Daxos triggers, causing you to gain 1 life.
  5. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop is powered by a continuous cycle of life and growth between your permanents. Once you initiate the sequence, The Destined White Mage responds to your lifegain by placing a +1/+1 counter on Basking Broodscale, which immediately triggers the Broodscale to spawn an Eldrazi token. As that token enters the battlefield, Daxos, Blessed by the Sun grants you life in return, closing the loop and feeding right back into The Destined White Mage to repeat the process infinitely.
