How it works

1. Activate Mogg Fanatic by sacrificing it.
2. When Mogg Fanatic dies, Mortuary and Daxos trigger.
3. Resolve the Mortuary trigger, putting Mogg Fanatic from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
4. Resolve the Daxos trigger, causing you to gain 1 life
5. Resolve the Mogg Fanatic ability.
6. Cast Mogg Fanatic from the top of your library by paying 1 life.
7. When Mogg Fanatic enters, Daxos triggers, causing you to gain 1 life.
8. Repeat.

This clever loop turns a humble goblin into a perpetual damage engine by leveraging Bolas's Citadel to cast spells straight from the top of your library using life instead of mana. When you activate Mogg Fanatic to fling damage at a target, Mortuary steps in to instantly rescue it from the graveyard, placing the creature right back on top of your library where the Citadel can access it again. Meanwhile, Daxos, Blessed by the Sun acts as your vital life-buffer, gaining you life on both the entry and death of the fanatic to safely offset the life payments required to recast it indefinitely.
