How it works

1. Deal combat damage using the creature that has Breath of Fury attached and Magnus the Red, triggering Breath of Fury and Magnus the Red.
2. Resolve the Magnus the Red trigger, creating a creature token.
3. Resolve the Breath of Fury trigger, causing you to sacrifice the creature it is attached to, then attach Breath of Fury to a creature token, then causing you to untap all creatures you control and to get an additional combat phase after this one.
4. Repeat each combat phase.

This vicious loop centers on bestowing Breath of Fury onto a creature so that every time it connects with an opponent, you can sacrifice it to chain into an additional combat phase while moving the Aura onto a fresh target. Magnus the Red ensures this engine never runs out of fuel by spawning a fresh 3/3 red Spawn creature token off its own combat damage, providing the exact body needed to receive Breath of Fury for the next swing. Meanwhile, Purphoros, Bronze-Blooded grants your team haste so that newly entering creatures can immediately attack, while also offering a mana-efficient way to cheat red threats directly into play from your hand.
