How it works
- Activate all mana-producing creatures you control by tapping them, adding at least 1.
- Cast the creature card by paying its mana cost.
- When the creature enters the battlefield, Intruder Alarm triggers, untapping all creatures.
- Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing the creature, adding one mana of any color.
- When the creature dies, Enduring Renewal triggers, returning the creature to your hand from your graveyard.
- Repeat.
This clever loop relies on the constant recycling of a creature to churn out an endless stream of resources. You cast your creature, and as it enters the battlefield, Intruder Alarm triggers to untap your entire board. From there, you feed that creature to Phyrexian Altar for mana, which immediately sends it to the graveyard. That death is precisely what Enduring Renewal is waiting for, as its triggered ability plucks the creature right back out of your graveyard and returns it to your hand, ready to be cast all over again.
