How it works

1. Discard Circling Vultures from your hand using its static ability.
2. Because Circling Vultures is a Lhurgoyf due to Ashes of the Fallen, Disa the Restless's first ability triggers, putting Circling Vultures from your graveyard onto the battlefield.
3. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Circling Vultures, adding CC.
4. When Circling Vultures dies, Enduring Renewal triggers, returning Circling Vultures from your graveyard to the battlefield.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop transforms a humble bird into an engine of infinite mana and triggers by rewriting the rules of the graveyard and the creature types themselves. Ashes of the Fallen is the glue holding the entire mechanism together, naming "Lhurgoyf" so that Circling Vultures is treated as a Lhurgoyf card everywhere it goes. When you discard Circling Vultures from your hand, Disa the Restless catches it on the way to the graveyard and immediately drops it onto the battlefield. From there, you sacrifice it to Ashnod's Altar to generate colorless mana, which triggers Enduring Renewal to bounce the Vultures right back to your hand so you can discard it all over again.
