How it works

1. Activate Carrion Feeder by sacrificing Shambling Ghast.
2. When Shambling Ghast dies, it and Enduring Renewal trigger.
3. Resolve the Enduring Renewal trigger, returning Shambling Ghast from your graveyard to your hand.
4. Resolve the Shambling Ghast trigger, creating a Treasure artifact token.
5. Resolve the Carrion Feeder ability from step 1, putting a +1/+1 counter on Carrion Feeder.
6. Activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding .
7. Cast Shambling Ghast by paying .
8. Repeat.

This elegant loop turns the humble Shambling Ghast into a self-sustaining engine fueled by Carrion Feeder's voracious appetite for sacrifice. Whenever the Ghast hits the graveyard, Enduring Renewal’s passive ability instantly bypasses normal death routines to return it right back to your hand for another casting. Meanwhile, the Ghast's own death triggers provide the Treasure token needed to pay for that very casting, while simultaneously pumping Carrion Feeder larger and larger with endless +1/+1 counters.
