How it works

1. Cast Repository Skaab by paying 0.
2. When Repository Skaab enters the battlefield, it triggers, causing you to sacrifice it.
3. When Repository Skaab dies, Enduring Renewal triggers, returning it to your hand from your graveyard.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop turns a modest Zombie into a relentless, self-sustaining engine by removing its mana cost entirely through Rooftop Storm, allowing you to cast Repository Skaab for free over and over. As the Skaab enters, its exploit ability forces you to sacrifice it to itself, immediately sending it to the graveyard where Enduring Renewal's static ability triggers to bounce it right back to your hand. Because you never actually draw cards under Enduring Renewal's replacement effect, your library remains completely safe from decking while you churn out an endless stream of death, enters-the-battlefield, and sacrifice triggers.
