How it works

1. Activate Bartolomé del Presidio by sacrificing Greedy Freebooter.
2. When Greedy Freebooter dies, it and Enduring Renewal trigger.
3. Resolve the Greedy Freebooter trigger, causing you to scry 1 and create a Treasure token.
4. Resolve the Enduring Renewal trigger, returning Greedy Freebooter from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Resolve the Bartolomé del Presidio ability, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
6. Activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding .
7. Cast Greedy Freebooter by paying .
8. Repeat.

This delightful loop centers around Bartolomé del Presidio, who happily devours your creatures to grow larger while setting up the rest of the engine. Each time Greedy Freebooter is sacrificed to fuel Bartolomé, it hits the graveyard and immediately triggers Enduring Renewal's replacement effect to bounce the pirate right back to your hand. Meanwhile, Greedy Freebooter's own death trigger rewards you with a Treasure token and a scry, which you can immediately sacrifice for the mana needed to recast the Freebooter and repeat the cycle indefinitely.
