How it works

1. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Su-Chi Cave Guard, adding one mana of any color.
2. When Su-Chi Cave Guard dies, it and Enduring Renewal trigger.
3. Resolve the Su-Chi Cave Guard trigger, adding eight C.
4. Resolve the Enduring Renewal trigger, returning Su-Chi Cave Guard from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Cast Su-Chi Cave Guard by paying 8.
6. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Su-Chi Cave Guard's massive death payout into a self-sustaining engine, utilizing Phyrexian Altar to convert that sacrifice directly into the colored mana needed to recast it. Enduring Renewal plays a vital passive role here by watching the battlefield: whenever the Cave Guard hits your graveyard, its enchantment ability immediately intercepts it and bounces the giant automaton right back to your hand.
