How it works

1. Move to your cleanup step.

4. Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing Basking Rootwalla.
5. When Basking Rootwalla dies, Enduring Renewal triggers, returning Basking Rootwalla from your graveyard to your hand.
6. Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability, causing target player to mill cards equal to Basking Rootwalla's power.
7. Once the stack is empty and all players pass priority, another cleanup step occurs.
8. Repeat from step 2.
