How it works

1. Cast Vishgraz either from your hand or from the command zone by paying 2 plus commander tax, if applicable.
2. When Vishgraz enters the battlefield, it triggers, creating six 1/1 Phyrexian Mite artifact creature tokens.
3. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Vishgraz, adding .
4. When Vishgraz dies, Enduring Renewal triggers, returning Vishgraz from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Activate Phyrexian Altar four times by sacrificing four Phyrexian Mites, adding 2.
6. Repeat.

This infinite loop revolves around the synergy between Vishgraz, the Doomhive and Enduring Renewal to continually recycle your commander. When Vishgraz enters the battlefield, Doubling Season turns its usual token generation into six Phyrexian Mites, while Doubling Season's second clause also amplifies Vishgraz's power-boosting counters if you want to attack. You then sacrifice Vishgraz to Phyrexian Altar to generate the white mana needed to recast it. Whenever Vishgraz hits the graveyard, Enduring Renewal's passive ability immediately returns it to your hand, allowing you to recast it indefinitely while sacrificing the leftover Phyrexian Mites to Phyrexian Altar for a continuous stream of colored mana.
