How it works

1. Discard Circling Vultures from your hand using its static ability.
2. Because Circling Vultures is a Lhurgoyf due to Ashes of the Fallen, Disa the Restless's first ability triggers, putting Circling Vultures from your graveyard onto the battlefield.
3. Activate Thermopod's second ability by sacrificing Circling Vultures, adding .
4. When Circling Vultures dies, Enduring Renewal triggers, returning Circling Vultures from your graveyard to the battlefield.
5. Resolve the Thermopod ability, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
6. Repeat.

This clever loop transforms a humble bird into an engine of endless power, orchestrated by Ashes of the Fallen choosing "Lhurgoyf" so that every creature in your graveyard gains that vital creature type. With that type-changing foundation set, discarding Circling Vultures triggers Disa the Restless to immediately resurrect it onto the battlefield. From there, you feed Circling Vultures to Thermopod to generate red mana, which in turn causes Enduring Renewal to return the bird right back to your hand for another discard.
