How it works

1. Activate Goblin Bombardment by sacrificing Greedy Freebooter.
2. When Greedy Freebooter dies, it and Enduring Renewal trigger.
3. Resolve the Greedy Freebooter trigger, causing you to scry 1 and create a Treasure token.
4. Resolve the Enduring Renewal trigger, returning Greedy Freebooter from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Resolve the Goblin Bombardment ability, dealing 1 damage to any target.
6. Activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding .
7. Cast Greedy Freebooter by paying .
8. Repeat.

This clever loop turns a humble 1-mana pirate into an endless engine of destruction by exploiting Enduring Renewal's replacement and recursion effects. When you sacrifice Greedy Freebooter to Goblin Bombardment, Enduring Renewal steps in to immediately bounce the creature right back to your hand instead of letting it rest in the graveyard. Meanwhile, Greedy Freebooter's own death trigger rewards you with a Treasure token, which you can then crack for the mana needed to recast the pirate and repeat the entire cycle.
