How it works

1. Activate Phantom Train by sacrificing Greedy Freebooter.
2. When Greedy Freebooter dies, it and Enduring Renewal trigger.
3. Resolve the Greedy Freebooter trigger, causing you to scry 1 and create a Treasure token.
4. Resolve the Enduring Renewal trigger, returning Greedy Freebooter from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Resolve the Phantom Train ability
6. Activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding .
7. Cast Greedy Freebooter by paying .
8. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Phantom Train into an infinitely growing threat by exploiting the replacement and return mechanics of Enduring Renewal. By sacrificing Greedy Freebooter to the Train's activation cost, you trigger the Freebooter's death ability while *Enduring Renewal* concurrently forces the dead creature straight back into your hand rather than staying in the graveyard. The Treasure token generated by the falling Freebooter can then be sacrificed for the mana needed to recast it, creating an endless cycle that fuels infinite deaths, enters-the-battlefield triggers, and a massive stack of +1/+1 counters.
