How it works

  1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Dockside Extortionist, adding CC.
  2. When Dockside Extortionist dies, Enduring Renewal triggers, returning Dockside Extortionist to your hand from your graveyard.
  3. Cast Dockside Extortionist by paying 1R mana.
  4. When Dockside Extortionist enters the battlefield, it triggers, creating at least one Treasure artifact token.
  5. Activate a Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding R mana.
  6. Repeat.
  7. If opponents control two or more artifacts and/or enchantments, this combo nets infinite Treasure tokens and colored mana.

This ingenious loop turns Enduring Renewal’s quirky replacement effect into a relentless recursion engine. By using Ashnod's Altar to regularly feed the goblin back to the graveyard, Enduring Renewal instantly catches it and bounces it right back to your hand rather than letting it stay down. From there, Dockside Extortionist repays the casting cost many times over by generating a flood of Treasure tokens off your opponents' artifacts and enchantments. Once those Treasures are cracked for mana, you have more than enough resources to replay Dockside Extortionist and keep the whole machine spinning infinitely.
