How it works

1. Activate Phantom Train by sacrificing a persist creature that doesn't have a -1/-1 counter on it.
2. When the creature dies, its persist ability and Long Feng trigger.
3. Resolve the Long Feng trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on the other persist creature.
4. Resolve the persist trigger, returning the creature from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
5. Resolve the Phantom Train ability.
6. Repeat.

This brilliant looping engine harnesses the synergy between Long Feng, Grand Secretariat and Phantom Train to continuously recycle creatures with persist. By feeding a persist creature to Phantom Train's sacrifice ability, you trigger Long Feng's watchfulness over the graveyard while simultaneously activating the vehicle's self-buffing mechanism and animating it into a Spirit artifact creature. The persist mechanic then returns the sacrificed creature to the battlefield, where it is immediately ready to be sacrificed again in an endless cycle that generates infinite sacrifices, deaths, and counters.
