How it works

1. Activate Emiel by paying 3, blinking Supply Runners.
2. When Supply Runners enters the battlefield, it triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on each other creature you control.
3. Activate Workhorse by removing a +1/+1 counter from it, adding C.
4. Activate Cryptic Trilobite's first ability by removing a +1/+1 counter from it, adding CC that can only be spent to activate abilities.
5. Repeat.

This looping engine relies on Emiel the Blessed to continuously blink Supply Runners, whose entry trigger pumps your board with fresh +1/+1 counters. To keep this activation chain fueled, Workhorse and Cryptic Trilobite sacrifice those very counters to generate the exact mana needed to pay Emiel's blink cost. Not only does Cryptic Trilobite's restrictive mana generation cleanly satisfy the ability activation cost, but the counters distributed along the way also provide a steady reservoir of fuel for the workhorses of the combo to expend.
