How it works
Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Stormbound Geist, adding CC.
When Stormbound Geist dies, its undying ability and Necrosynthesis trigger.
Resolve the Stormbound Geist trigger, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter and a vigilance counter on it.
Resolve the Necrosynthesis trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on Tayam.
Activate Tayam by paying 3, removing a +1/+1 counter from Tayam, and both counters from Stormbound Geist.
Holding priority, activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Stormbound Geist, adding CC.
Repeat steps 2-4 one additional time.
Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Stormbound Geist, adding CC.
Resolve Tayam's ability from step 5, causing you to mill three cards and returning Stormbound Geist from your graveyard to the battlefield.
Repeat.
This clever loop turns Stormbound Geist into a self-sustaining engine by exploiting its native undying ability alongside the mana-producing power of Ashnod's Altar. While Stormbound Geist endlessly cycles back and forth from the graveyard with the help of Tayam, Luminous Enigma's ability to supply extra vigilance counters, Necrosynthesis amplifies the cycle by feeding counters onto Tayam to pay for its recursion cost. The result is a seamless recycling plant that continuously generates colorless mana and feeds your graveyard while executing the loop indefinitely.
