How it works

  1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Kitchen Finks, adding CC.
  2. Kitchen Finks dies, triggering its persist ability and Necrosynthesis.
  3. Resolve the Kitchen Finks trigger, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter and a vigilance counter on it.
  4. Kitchen Finks enters the battlefield, causing you to gain two life.
  5. Resolve the Necrosynthesis trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on Tayam.
  6. Activate Tayam by paying 3, removing a +1/+1 counter from Tayam, and both counters from Kitchen Finks.
  7. Holding priority, activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Kitchen Finks, adding CC.
  8. Repeat steps 2-5 one additional time.
  9. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Kitchen Finks, adding CC.
  10. Resolve Tayam's ability from step 6, causing you to mill three cards and returning Kitchen Finks from your graveyard to the battlefield.
  11. Kitchen Finks enters the battlefield, causing you to gain two life.
  12. Repeat.
