How it works

1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Rendclaw Trow, adding CC.
2. When Rendclaw Trow dies, its persist ability and Necrosynthesis trigger.
3. Resolve the Rendclaw Trow trigger, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter and a vigilance counter on it.
4. Resolve the Necrosynthesis trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on Tayam.
5. Activate Tayam by paying 3, removing a +1/+1 counter from Tayam, and both counters from Rendclaw Trow.
6. Holding priority, activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Rendclaw Trow, adding CC.
7. Repeat steps 2-4 one additional time.
8. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Rendclaw Trow, adding CC.
9. Resolve Tayam's ability from step 5, causing you to mill three cards and returning Rendclaw Trow from your graveyard to the battlefield.
10. Repeat.

This ingenious loop centers around Tayam, Luminous Enigma, who ensures that any creature entering your control arrives bolstered with an extra vigilance counter. Ashnod's Altar provides the sacrifice outlet to fuel your mana while sending Rendclaw Trow to the graveyard, where its persist ability normally brings it back with a -1/-1 counter. However, because Tayam, Luminous Enigma naturally grants vigilance counters and Necrosynthesis piles on +1/+1 counters each time a creature dies, you have an abundance of counters to spend on Tayam's ability. By constantly stripping these opposing counters away and recurring Rendclaw Trow, you generate an endless engine of sacrifice, self-mill, and mana that can easily unearth every permanent in your graveyard.
