How it works
Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Stormbound Geist, adding CC.
When Stormbound Geist dies, its undying ability and Sengir's first ability trigger.
Resolve the Stormbound Geist trigger, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter and a vigilance counter on it.
Resolve the Sengir trigger, putting two +1/+1 counters on Sengir.
Activate Tayam by paying 3, removing a +1/+1 counter from Sengir, and both counters from Stormbound Geist.
Holding priority, activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Stormbound Geist, adding CC.
Repeat steps 2-4 one additional time.
Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Stormbound Geist, adding CC.
Resolve Tayam's ability from step 5, causing you to mill three cards and returning Stormbound Geist from your graveyard to the battlefield.
Repeat.
This clever loop exploits the interplay between recursive creature mechanics and counter-manipulation to generate infinite resources. Ashnod's Altar acts as your engine, sacrificing Stormbound Geist to fund your activations while feeding Sengir, the Dark Baron with a steady stream of death triggers and massive stat boosts. Meanwhile, Tayam, Luminous Enigma keeps the cycle spinning by effortlessly clearing away the very counters that would otherwise lock Stormbound Geist out of returning via its undying ability.
