How it works

1. Cast Channeler Initiate by paying 1.
2. Channeler Initiate enters the battlefield with a vigilance counter, putting three -1/-1 counters on itself.
3. Activate Channeler Initiate by tapping and removing a -1/-1 counter from it, adding one mana of any color.
4. Activate Tayam by paying 3 and removing all counters from Channeler Initiate.
5. Holding priority, activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Channeler Initiate, adding CC.
6. Resolve the Tayam ability, milling three cards and returning Channeler Initiate from your graveyard to the battlefield.
7. Repeat from step 2.
