How it works
Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Rendclaw Trow, adding CC.
When Rendclaw Trow dies, its persist ability and Sengir's first ability trigger.
Resolve the Rendclaw Trow trigger, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter and a vigilance counter on it.
Resolve the Sengir trigger, putting two +1/+1 counters on Sengir.
Activate Tayam by paying 3, removing a +1/+1 counter from Sengir, and both counters from Rendclaw Trow.
Holding priority, activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Rendclaw Trow, adding CC.
Repeat steps 2-4 one additional time.
Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Rendclaw Trow, adding CC.
Resolve Tayam's ability from step 5, causing you to mill three cards and returning Rendclaw Trow from your graveyard to the battlefield.
Repeat.
This loop turns Rendclaw Trow into an endless engine of sacrifice and resurrection, fueled by the mana from Ashnod's Altar. Whenever Rendclaw Trow hits the graveyard, its persist trigger brings it back, while Sengir, the Dark Baron grows larger by collecting two +1/+1 counters from the death. Tayam, Luminous Enigma provides the crucial utility that makes this sustainable: thanks to Tayam's static ability, Rendclaw Trow enters with a vigilance counter, giving us the exact mix of counters needed to pay Tayam's activation cost and loop the Trow right back out of the graveyard.
