How it works

1. Whenever damage would be dealt to you, With Great Power... causes that damage to be redirected to the creature it is attached to.
2. Since Inviolability grants an ability to the creature preventing damage being dealt to it, no damage is dealt to you or to that creature.

This clever defensive lock makes use of Inviolability to completely nullify all damage dealt to the creature it enchants. Meanwhile, With Great Power . . . serves as the crucial redirection engine, stepping in to intercept every instance of damage that would normally be dealt to you and shifting it onto that protected creature instead. Because Inviolability stands ready to prevent all damage directed at its host, the redirected blows simply vanish into thin air, leaving both you and your creature entirely safe from harm.
