How it works

1. Activate Wildwood Mentor using Pentavus's first ability by paying 1 and removing a +1/+1 counter from it, creating a 1/1 Pentavite artifact creature token.
2. When the Pentavite enters the battlefield, Wildwood Mentor's first ability triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on itself.
3. Activate Krark-Clan Ironworks by sacrificing the Pentavite, adding CC.
4. Repeat.
5. Once you have infinite mana, you may forego sacrificing the Pentavites.
6. Once you have infinite creature tokens, you may activate Wildwood Mentor using Pentavus's last ability any number of times.

This ingenious engine turns Pentavus into a self-contained mana and token factory by feeding its abilities through Agatha's Soul Cauldron, which grants Pentavus's counter-manipulation tricks to Wildwood Mentor. As Wildwood Mentor generates Pentavite tokens, its own triggered ability places +1/+1 counters right back onto it to sustain the loop, while Krark-Clan Ironworks converts those sacrificed tokens into a surplus of colorless mana. Because Agatha's Soul Cauldron also lets you spend mana as though it were any color, that raw colorless output translates cleanly into infinite mana of any hue, endless death and entry triggers, and arbitrarily massive power boosts.
