How it works

1. Activate Will by tapping it, reducing the cost of all white and/or blue spells you cast this turn by at least 3.
2. Cast Recruit the Worthy with buyback by paying due to Will's ability, creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token and returning Recruit the Worthy to your hand.
3. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing the Soldier, adding .
4. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop turns life gain into an infinite engine by leveraging Will, Scion of Peace, whose tap ability scales your white and/or blue spell discounts based on the life you've gained this turn. With that cost reduction in place, you can cast Recruit the Worthy for a mere {W} while paying its buyback cost, netting you a fresh 1/1 Soldier creature token straight to the battlefield.
