How it works

1. Activate Will by tapping it, reducing the cost of all white and/or blue spells you cast this turn by at least 2.
2. Cast Mystic Speculation with buyback by paying due to Will's ability.
3. Deekah triggers, creating a 0/0 Fractal creature token, and then putting a +1/+1 counter on the Fractal.
4. Resolve Mystic Speculation, causing you to scry 3 and return it to your hand.
5. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing the Fractal, adding .
6. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop turns the unassuming scry spell Mystic Speculation into a bottomless engine fueled by life gain and recursion. By tapping Will, Scion of Peace, you discount your blue spells enough to cover the base cost of Mystic Speculation with buyback, letting you cast it repeatedly for next to nothing. Every time you cast it, Deekah, Fractal Theorist triggers to churn out an ever-growing Fractal token via her magecraft ability. You then feed that token directly into Phyrexian Altar, sacrificing it to recoup the exact mana needed to cast the spell all over again while generating infinite sacrifice, death, and ETB triggers.
